How to Join

Membership Requirements and Expectations

If you are interested in joining Creative Pathways, please be aware that we follow a structured system to maintain order and to ensure that all members feel comfortable and safe.

To be eligible to apply, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must be local to the 518/845 area.

• You must be at least 20 years of age.

• You are responsible for covering your own travel expenses to and from photo shoot locations.

• You are required to participate at least once every two months.

• You must be willing to build your own model wardrobe. You may use the shared model closet when needed; however, it currently includes only dresses and formal wear, and not all sizes are available.

• You are responsible for arranging your own transportation to and from shoots.

• Applicants of any gender may apply. However, if there is any concern regarding an applicant’s intentions, the applicant may be subject to a vetting process.

• You are required to sign both a model release and a contract. The model release grants the photographer the right to use the images, while the contract is signed by both parties and applies equally to both sides. This is a legal requirement.

These are the basic requirements for joining and what you should expect when applying. Please also review the following policies carefully.

Conduct Policy: Bullying, Harassment, and Discrimination

Bullying, harassment, or any form of discrimination is strictly prohibited. All members are expected to treat one another with respect at all times. Any member who engages in behavior that makes others feel unsafe or uncomfortable will be removed from the group immediately.

If you experience any issues with another member, you must report the matter promptly to a lead.

Political and Social Neutrality Policy

Creative Pathways does not align itself with any political party or ideology. We do what we refer to as “shoots that matter,” which may include themes such as Pride or Black Lives Matter. These are not partisan political statements, and we do not conduct shoots that promote any political agenda, whether right- or left-leaning.

Political discussions are not permitted in group chats, group pages, or in any context where members are representing Creative Pathways or Diamond & Lace CC.

Application Notice

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Likewise, being referred by a current member does not exempt an applicant from any of the requirements or policies listed above.
