General FAQ

Diamond&Lace CC is proudly based in Catskill, NY, serving our local surrounding community. My service area goes up to the Albany, Schenectady, Troy area, down to Kingston, over to Hudson and Ghent, and west to Oneida 

my hours are typically 12pm until sunset, so 

winter

12pm until 3 or 4pm

Summer

12pm until 8pm

These hours will vary due to the changing sunset times. I do not shoot at night, so we cannot be later than the golden hour.  I am also flexible, If you need different hours, just message me

I try too, I do not typically do minis or family shoots, im more of a Creative arts/ Modeling photographer, but I have tried, it didn't go great, but I may hold one in the spring again. Learn from your mistakes!  

Go to packages and then fill out the contact form, which will trigger me to set up and consult with you, you "booking" the package isnt actually booking, its you reaching out to me so we can finalize your plans. All packages are customizable, so pick the one that most closely resemebles to what you want.

All package prices are just base prices; that's the starting price, it may go up depending on what you want to do! 

 Bring your unique flair and any fun props you'd like to showcase—whether it's your favorite outfit, accessories, or even your beloved pets! I can't wait to see your creative spirit, and I'm happy to provide props as well. We'll create a Pinterest board together to inspire your poses, and you'll have the opportunity to select the ones that resonate with you, so don’t hesitate to bring along any inspiration you have!

Pricing is negotiable to fit your budget, including generous discounts for military personnel and first responders, plus free sessions available.

If you're part of the booking, absolutely! Everyone 18 and over will need to sign a contract (couples only require one signature) for legal and safety reasons. You can add anyone to the booking up to 48 hours before your shoot!

Dressing your kids for a photoshoot can be a fun experience! I recommend selecting outfits that reflect the season and location of your shoot . Aim for colors that complement each other while allowing for some individuality—like mixing shades of blue and tan among family members. Everyone must share a similar style, whether it's casual or more formal, to maintain a cohesive look. During our consultation, I'll bring along color swatches and outfit ideas to help you make the best choices! Remember, the goal is for your kids to feel comfortable and express their personalities while looking great in the photos.

When it comes to choosing a background, you have a lot of options! While I currently don’t have an indoor studio set up or digital backdrops, I can work with you to find the perfect natural setting that fits your vision. The Catskill area has many stunning locations, so we can definitely find a beautiful backdrop for your shoot. If you're interested in a studio environment, I can arrange to rent one, but keep in mind that this may increase the overall cost. Just let me know what you're thinking, and we'll make it happen!

Of course! I can come to your house for a photoshoot, but we would need to conduct the session outdoors. For safety reasons, I'll bring along one or two assistants. Once we establish a rapport, we can explore more options together!
